EARLY YEARS TEACHING ASSISTANT – Forest School Experience Desirable

to work in our Nursery and Foundation Stage

31.25 hours per week 40 week contract (term time plus one week) fixed term contract

Salary Scale – Scale B £18562-18877 (full time equivalent)

Actual Annual Pay £13754-13987

Scale C £18933-19941 (full time equivalent)

Actual Annual Pay £14028-£14776

Salary dependent on age and experience

Start date – Jan 4th 2021 – End date – 31st August 2021

 

Applicants will need to have a minimum L2 Early Years qualification, prior experience of working within EYFS and be able to demonstrate a current knowledge and understanding of the EYFS curriculum. It is essential that you have good literacy, numeracy, IT and oral communication skills. 

If you:

  • have an EY Level 2 or above qualification with experience working with 2-4 year olds
  • are a reflective practitioner
  • love working with young children and seeing them grow in confidence
  • are highly motivated and committed to working as part of a team
  • are able to work under your own initiative, think and work creatively and respond to the needs of 

  the pupils, helping them to progress further

  • have excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
  • have a love of the outdoors
  • are willing to undertake first aid and hygiene duties
  • have a flexible attitude and approach to your work
  • have a good sense of humour and a caring, cheerful and conscientious disposition
  • are self-motivated and have the drive to go the extra mile for the benefit of our super EYFS children
  • can demonstrate excellent behaviour management skills
  • understands confidentiality and safeguarding procedures

Qualified Paediatric First Aider

31.25 hours per week 40 week contract (term time plus one week) fixed term contract

Start date – as soon as possible – End date – 31st August 2021

 

Applicants will need to have prior experience of working with pupils with ESMH needs and be able to demonstrate a current knowledge and understanding of inclusion.

31.25 hours per week 40 week contract (term time plus one week) fixed term contract

Salary Scale – Scale B £18562-18877 (full time equivalent)

Scale C £18933-19941 (full time equivalent)

Actual Annual Pay £14028-£14776

Salary dependent on age and experience

Start date – as soon as possible – End date – 31st August 2021 with the possibility of extension

 

Applicants will need to have prior experience of working with and successfully including ASD pupils in a mainstream school setting. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a current knowledge and understanding of inclusion.
