Mrs Tubb is Retiring
We are saddened to share that after 18 years of teaching, the wonderful Mrs Tubb has made the decision to retire. She has made such a difference to the life of the school in her 9 years at Hordle and really made a significant contribution to the wider music offer.
Following the decision to retire, Mrs Tubb has chosen her favourite songs from the past 19 years for the choir to sing in her last performance in June. Parents who came to school here and were taught by her may remember some of them!
Therefore, we would love to invite you all to enjoy Mrs Tubb's final choir performance which will be held on Badger decking from 3.30pm until 4.15pm on Tuesday 25th June. No tickets are required, but instead, there will be an opportunity to make a voluntary donation towards the school's music department, should you wish.
We are pleased to announce that Mrs Dunwoody will be taking over the choir in September and comms will be out before the end of the year. Arrangements for a wider music offer are being reviewed currently and we will let you know more in due course.
I know you will join me in welcoming Mrs Dunwoody and in wishing Mrs Tubb a very well-deserved retirement.
We would like to say the biggest Team Hordle THANK YOU to Mrs Tubb, for all of her commitment and hard work at Hordle. She will be greatly missed by all.
