Team UJs recently participated in a formal debate, discussing whether or not a wind farm should be built in Christchurch Bay. Despite the fact they agreed it was a sustainable energy source, ultimately the children felt passionately about the implementation of controls around the blades, which can negatively affect bird migration, and the installation of flaps on the blades to protect wildlife. 

We were so proud of how the children approached the debate, demonstrating fantastic oracy, respectful disagreements and careful consideration of others' points of views. Well done, Team UJs!
