To end our Once Upon a Time theme we shared the story of the Little Red Hen, the children were excited to find out we were baking our own bread rolls. The children read the instructions and we able to work in small groups to make the dough before kneading and shaping their own roll. What made this even more special was we were joined by their grown-ups the following day to share and taste the rolls with them.
