It is with great sadness that we will be saying farewell to some members of Team Hordle at the end of this school year.
LEAVERS
Miss Winn will be leaving to follow her dreams of working in special education. We would like to wish her all the very best in her new school and know the children will be very lucky to have her indeed.
Miss Young is heading off for new and exciting adventures, travelling the world. She is planning an exciting trip to Australia and we very much hope to receive a postcard or two in the near future. Enjoy your travels, Miss Young.
After an impressive 21 years at Team Hordle, Miss Fletcher-Jones is taking on a new and exciting role as Senior Teacher and Leader in a local school. We wish her all the very best in her new role. You will be missed!
Mrs Tubb has been our very inspirational choir teacher for many, many years at Hordle but the time has come to retire. We will be so very sad to see you go. Thank you so much for bringing the beauty of music and song into our school.

We are delighted to share that we have some new members of staff joining the team from September.
JOINERS
Mrs O'Connor will be joining the teaching team in the main school for a year as she completes her teacher training. Mrs O'Connor is currently Team Wild Deputy Nursery Manager and has worked incredibly hard to make it the wonderful setting it is today. We're so proud of everything you have achieved already in pursuing a career in teaching and we are thrilled to support Mrs O'Connor in her ongoing development.
Whilst not new to Team Hordle, Mrs Aucott will be taking on the role of Deputy Nursery Manager and looking after our Wildlings in our outdoor nursery setting - Team Wild. Mrs Aucott is currently working in Team Nest and is thrilled to be moving up to Team Wild with many of our Nest children in September. She has been with the team for many years and is very much looking forward to this opportunity.
Miss Dawson will be joining the team as a class teacher having competed her teacher training with us just last year. The children will be delighted to see you back in school.
Finally, Miss Cazneaux will be returning to school to take on the role of Deputy Headteacher. Miss Cazneaux was a longstanding member of Team Hordle for 10 years, starting as an NQT in her first year of teaching, moving up to Upper Junior Lead before her departure for promotion to Deputy Head at a local school, where she has spent the last four years. We are thrilled that she is returning to us and very much looking forward to welcoming her back to Team Hordle.
Mrs Dunwoody will be taking on the role of choir teacher and further details will be shared shortly on how to sign up for the choir which will start again in September. We can't wait to warm up our singing voices!
